Jordan Collison from Saugeen DSS broke a 30 year old record in the open boys' 2000m steeplechase, covering the distance in a blistering time of 5:57.88.
The time broke Lloyd Schmidt (South SS) and his clocking of 6:00.20 established in 1980.
Collison is headed to Georgia State University, an NCAA Division I school, on a track and cross-country scholarship this fall.
